Sustainable menu trays: 3 options, various sizes
NOVATO menu trays are produced from sugarcane and contain up to 95% less plastic than traditional PP/CPET trays, without compromising on quality.
The trays are suitable for freezer, microwave, and oven (up to 180°C) and are easy to process on standard top-seal machines or combine with transparent lids.
Within the range, they are available in various versions, including Cuisine Kraft (natural color), Cuisine Black, and Eco-Cuisine, ensuring a suitable solution is always available for every application.
Meat trays
NOVATO meat trays are flat packaging specifically developed for the presentation and protection of fresh products such as meat, fish, and ready-to-eat specialties. They combine a sturdy construction with a professional appearance, allowing products to be presented optimally in the counter or on the shelf. The meat trays also contain 95% less plastic than traditional meat trays.
Lids
NOVATO transparent lids have been developed as a practical addition to the meal and meat trays, offering a fast and efficient way of packaging.
They ensure a secure seal and protect products during storage and transport, while the contents remain clearly visible for an attractive presentation on the shelf or in the counter. The lids are easy to apply, sturdy in use, and ideal for applications where speed and flexibility are key, without the use of top-sealing.
Top-seal machine and film
NOVATO’s top-seal solutions, consisting of top-seal machines and matching film, provide an efficient and reliable way of packaging. This combination allows meal and meat trays to be hermetically sealed, contributing to a longer shelf life and optimal protection of the product.
The film is tailored to NOVATO trays and suitable for applications such as MAP packaging, while the machines are easy to integrate into existing processes. Together, they form a complete and professional solution for hygienic, safe, and consistent packaging within the food sector.
